Thomas Meiser’s manufacturing education and experience began at the age of 10 while working in a family-owned and operated custom injection molding facility in Denver. After graduating from the University of Utah with a mechanical engineering degree, Tom spent five years working for innovative companies in Salt Lake City. In 1999, Tom confidently opened Ziel. Over his past 15+ years of product development success, Tom has also been assigned as an inventor on numerous patents including those for surgical medical devices and orthopedic spine implants.

Tom’s journey as the founder of Ziel has allowed him to enhance his skill-set, be an integral part in bringing many companies to their desired "finish lines," and experience different cultures throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Personally, Tom is most passionate about adventures with his wife and three young boys. He has also enjoyed success competing as a top amateur cyclist in the U.S. and Europe as well as a three-time Hawaiian IronMan Triathlon finisher.
